Hayden's First V-Day

OK, I'm a little delinquent on getting our blog updated this week, but as they say, all good things are worth waiting for!!

Last weekend was of course Hayden's first Valentine's day. Grandma Karen sent Hayden a cute card and $5 for his piggy bank, as you can see he was enjoying both the card and the money!

Hayden also "made" his first card (OK, I'm no expert, but I think his daycare teachers may have helped a little, but its the thought that counts!)

And my darling Husband had a special surprise for me, he had Hayden's teachers help him 'sign' his first card to Mommy! How cool is that???
Here are some random pictures of Hayden feeding himself this week, he's getting to the point where he wants to do it by himself - every night we need to hose him off... Thank goodness for the dogs who clean up the floor!

Hey Shan, I believe it was you (could have been me...who knows) who was notorious for the phrase "I can do it all by myself"...I wonder where Hayd gets it from!?!

Way to suck up Ray!!! I might have to bring Stef up more often, you can give him some pointers!!!

Great pictures! I'll bet the dogs would like to help clean up Hayden as well as the floor ;-)

G! Shannon used to say "I'll do it MY BY SELF!!!" About the same results too.

I can see the birthday celebration now: Hayden turned loose on a piece of birthday cake to eat himself!

OK, Ray, what's the scoop on the Christmas disaster!???

Cute cute card. That is a keeper right there. The feeding himself is kind of fun and not at the same time huh?

Today my 3-year old informed me she was going to poach an egg all by herself. I think not.

He needs his own entire cake for his birthday. Ray got his own - chocolate with chocolate frosting - phenominal pics!

Love the pictures! And I agree with Karen..he so needs his own cake!

I love the Valentines card that Ray & Hayden made for you. You should have Ray give Tony some pointers :) (just teasing baby, since I'm sure you will read this and wonder what in the world I am talking about)

Happy late Valentines Day to you guys!

3 year olds poaching eggs could be very bad... More stuff for us to look forward to!
Not to worry, Hayden will have his own birthday cake to smash and squish to his little hearts delight!
