Colorado Trip

A couple of weekends ago, Hayden and I ventured up to Colorado for a long weekend at Great G-ma and Great Papa's house. Hayden is a great little traveler (even with the remnants of an ear infection that almost kept us home). He fell asleep just as the plane pushed back from the gate, and woke up just as we were ready to exit the plane - wish I could sleep like that on flights!

Anyway, we had a great time and here are some photo highlights of the trip.

Hayden 'riding' Great G-ma's exercise bike - I will really give him creativity points for use of exercise equipment.

Playing with Great-Papa's hat - it was so cool!

We ventured out to the Denver zoo - it has been YEARS since I've been there! It really is an amazing zoo - Hayden had such a great time!
Here he is ready to get in and see the animals.

I remember playing on these Ox when I was a kid - so it was so neat to be able to get a picture of Hayden playing with them too!

Hayden monkeying around

Hayden had more fun playing in the laundry basket, it was great fun when Papa drug him around.

Studying with great concentration the globe, planning our next big vacation I think ;-)

Here is a little video clip of Hayden playing with the laundry basket, and his new creative use for the globe.

Love the pictures, and especially the video. The music was PERFECT. How did you find that?

The music is by a band called Trout Fishing in America - they have a lot of great kid stuff - very fun and not all that bad to listen to as an adult :-)

Hayden comes by the "sleeping on the plane" honestly - it use to drive Lee nuts - as soon as they closed the door I was out until we landed AND were at the gate.....

Great photos & Video - looks like everyone had a GREAT time.
